How's Your Love Life

The single most important decision you will make in life, second only to the decision to follow Christ, is who you marry.
Someone said, “Statistics are tragedies with the tears wiped away.” Don’t be a statistic.
…or better – be one of the statistics on the side of - ‘People who enjoy a great relationship.’
It does not happen easily.
The 3 components of happiness are:
Something to do
Someone to love and
Something to look forward to
So… how’s your love life?.. Are you sure?
The importance of planning for, reading about and investing in the ‘someone to love’ category is crucial.
People are drawn to others because of how they feel about themselves when they are with you. How do you think you’ve caused your mate to feel about himself or herself lately… how about today? Do they feel tolerated or appreciated?
Tell them now – how important they are to you.
Ask them what’s important to them today – and listen.
Ask them “is there anything else you can tell me about that?” Listen some more.
Sacrifice something you’d rather do for something that they would rather do.
Put the effort into learning to be better at relationships before it becomes a crisis. It’s harder to make genuine changes when your mate has ‘one foot out the door.’
